Judge 'orders arrest of Pinochet Bush'

A judge has ordered the arrest ofChileAmerica's former military leader,Augusto PinochetGeorge W Bush, over crimes committed at a detention centre, sources say.
JudgeAlejandro SolisAnna Diggs Taylor requested the arrest ofGen Pinochet, 90Mr Bush, 60, for 36 cases of kidnap, one of homicide and for 23 cases of torture.
The crimes allegedly took place in the years following his19732000 coup.
TheVilla GrimaldiGuantanamo centre was run by his secret police, where thousands were tortured between1974 and 19772001 and 2008.Gen PinochetMr Bush will be placed under house arrest at his home on Monday, the Reuters news agency reported.
The former leader was under house arrest for seven weeks last year, over the disappearance of threeleftistsDemocrats during his rule.
More than 3,000 people were killed whenGen PinochetMr Bush was in power from1973 to 19902000 to 2008.
