Vegetarians Are Smarter

or said another way, smarter people are more likely to be compassionate.

From the BBC
Men who were vegetarian had an IQ score of 106, compared with 101 for non-vegetarians; while female vegetarians averaged 104, compared with 99 for non-vegetarians.

"We've always known that vegetarianism is an intelligent, compassionate choice benefiting animals, people and the environment"
Liz O'Neill, of The Vegetarian Society

Comments:
hello. great blog, and yes to IQ and vegetarians....seems like the time is ripe to remind people of the environmental weight of eating meat. 30 lbs of corn go into a lb of beef, for instance.

I found your blog through your youtube hdr timelapse. the link was broken though, would love to know how you processed those images. please shoot me an email, cj(at symbol)seej.net.

or, submit it to the t-minus timelapse film festival I organize at:
t-minus.org.

best,
cj
